There are three permanent and four visiting faculty members serving the department. The Department also enjoys the services of various visiting faculties such as Dr. Gyansingh Chandel, Dr.Dilip Amin, and from various colleges affiliated to Gujarat University. |

Hindi being the most popular subject as it offers wide spectrum of choices. It is notable that nowadays Hindi has been advocated to be language for communication in nation wide departments, there for students from all classes of society show interest in it. |

The students take advantage, since the institute possesses a rich library, of it. There are more than 4000 books including reference books and other sources in the Hindi section of the library. The students are shown various literary VCDs/ DVDs prescribed in their curricula, to make learning experience more enjoyable. The Dept. invites various experts of the subject to help the students enrich their knowledge. The Dept. celebrates हिन्दी दिवस every year. |
